以身作则

为什么要抄袭别人?
我们对自己有特定的要求。
我们有自己的风格。
我们有主见。
为什么非要跟随他人不可?
只是一味地抄袭,
只会掩藏你的个人特色。
只有做好自己的本份,
才能突出自己的性格。
每个人都有自己的优点、
独特之处,
为什么要依样画葫芦?
爱出风头不是表现自己的诀窍;
抄袭模仿只会掩藏自己的优点。
我们不是别人的复制品,
我们不要约束自己,
我们把自己的魅力都呈现出来,
这样我们才能得到满足感。

Please kindly remember that: "You are unique, just like anybody else."

In other word, everyone is different. I'm unique in my own way, he is also unique in his own way, she is too. It's just that they do not have any particular outstanding performance.

For example, an artist paints a picture that no one else has done before. You say he is unique because he doesn't copy. On the other hand, Bond draws 2 ultraman with stars. He is also unique as that is his own idea.

Kesimpulannya, being unique doesn't mean you're useful. Unique is just being different from others.

If we stick to our own "self", shutting our eyes and ears to new ideas, then we ourselves would become dull. The same way our BM contoh karangan likes to say "kekal pada budaya timur kita yang luhur, murni, bla bla bla", while implying that all the bad stuff comes from a foreign culture.

Sebagai konklusi, kita haruslah ingat bahawa kerajaan turki uthmaniyah dan abbasiyah tidak akan mampu menjana kemajuan intelek yang kita saksikan dalam sejarah jikalau cendekiawan Islam telah memilih untuk menolak segala ilmu yang dihasilkan oleh para cendekiawan Yunani dan tamadun-tamadun lain. Melalui penyerapan ilmu dan elemen-elemen murni daripada budaya asing, kerajaan Islam pada zaman itu bukan sahaja telah meninggalkan kejahiliahan, malah telah membantu manusia sejagat melindungi ilmu moyang mereka daripada kemusnahan. Jelaslah bahawa pengajaran sejarah ini haruslah menjadi pedoman kepada kita pada era globalisasi yang memperlihatkan campur aduk dan asimilasi pelbagai budaya supaya sentiasa berfikir secara kritik tetapi terbuka semasa menerima idea baru untuk mencapai misi, visi dan aspirasi negara.
