60th: NO WAR PLEASE!

Inspired from 911 Incident and Mumbai Terrorism

When war happens,
the terrorists assasinate;
the innocence live in fear.

Terrorism causes the innocence
to suffer from traumatic shock
and leave a scar behind them.

The innocence want to rebel
but they are feeble to do so.

There is no happiness,
only sadness spreads wild.

The whole area is under siege,
there is no way to escape.

The area under siege
is continuously bombarded by
the abuse of nuclear weapons.

Buildings demolished without left,
death bodies can be found everywhere,
people lead a harsh life,
languish and cry for mercy...

Please stop all these things from happening
again and again...
We demand mercy and peace!
We want to live in serenity.

Unity is power,
especially in a multi-racial country.

We revolt of terrorists!

You should try posting your poems to newspapers, magazines, books, competitions...etc. I think you stand a great chance of winning.
